mobile computing .. mobile group .. i like this concept and in fact enjoy living it. the teams are dispersed geographically, our manager sits somewhere in the middle of a dessert, desk, laptop, phone and DSL line. independent members, they stand on their own, work on quick customer onsites to fix software problems, recommend solutions to techno-organization problems, generate reports and get the hell out of there .. they fly all over the globe... i look forward to these friday concalls, it's like a hanging out session with the team online ..

well except their step sister, moi ... i have been sentenced to an indefinite term, sitting on site at this very demanding internet-online customer ... i guess one day, perhaps in a few months, a year, or even more, deus ex-machina will one day save this mortal heathen ... otherwise, it's friday, soon, monday will be here to increment the load of the yoke i carry.
